Subject: The Commission for the Protection of Competition of the Republic of North Macedonia submitted a decision on the compatibility of the concentration

The Commission for the Protection of Competition of the Republic of North Macedonia has considered the notification of the intention of market concentration submitted by KONČAR - Ulaganja d.o.o. with its registered office in Zagreb, Fallerovo šetalište 22 in relation to the undertaking Napredna energetska rješenja d.o.o. with its registered office in Zagreb, Fallerovo šetalište 22.

The Commission for the Protection of Competition has determined that the change in the ownership structure of the undertaking Napredna energetska rješenja d.o.o. by the acquisition of 49% of the shares held by Construction Line Limited by the company KONČAR - Ulaganja d.o.o. shall create no impact in terms of significant prevention, limitation or distortion of effective competition on the market or in its essential part, especially as a result of creating or strengthening the dominant position of the participant, all in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 paragraph (1) item 2) of the Act on the Protection of Competition of the Republic of North Macedonia. The previously mentioned decision has become valid as of 23 April 2024.

KONČAR Inc. will continue to timely inform the investment community on all the important facts related to the process of acquiring the remaining ownership shares in the company Napredna energetska rješenja d.o.o. that could affect KONČAR's Group operations.
