The Trusted Energy Interoperability Alliance (TEIA) will be present at the Eurelectric Power Summit 2023 on June 20-21 in Brussels.

The background, objectives and approach of TEIA will be presented at this year's Eurelectric event.

Initiated by E.ON , Intertrust , JERA , and Origin Energy in early June 2023, TEIA is an open standard for data security and interoperability in the energy system. TEIA brings together the energy industry as well as software and hardware manufacturers with the aim of increasing data security in the energy system. Open specifications for security technologies are an important contribution to this.

Companies from the energy industry, technology companies and service providers in the energy industry can become members of TEIA at any time. More information about TEIA and contact via the TEIA website: trusted-energy.org . TEIA is also present at the Eurelectric Power Summit at booth 12.

About Trusted Energy Interoperability Alliance (TEIA)

The goal of TEIA is to develop security standards for data along the entire energy value chain. This begins, for example, with the conversion of physical measured values ??into digital information. A higher level of security solves a variety of problems and challenges faced by the energy industry today. These include security gaps in data and applications resulting from increasing decentralization, the achievement of CO2 reduction targets, the efficient procurement of required hardware and software, new fields of application for artificial intelligence (AI) and more. The TEIA standard creates maximum data security and enables secure and efficient data exchange within and between the individual energy value-added stages (new and existing energy sources, conventional generation, renewables, power grids and all energy consumers). TEIA members are energy companies as well as technology providers and service providers in the energy industry. TEIA founding membersE.ON SE , Intertrust , JERA , and Origin Energy .
