Incap Oyj : Did you know that Incap Slovakia has employee representatives

Incap Slovakia has its own work council, which recently held elections to select the new council members.

According to Incap Slovakia's HR manager Maria Kecerova, a work council is a group chosen by the employees from Incap Slovakia to look out for their interests. It is governed by the Labor Code and focuses on important matters such as the application of labor law regulations, compliance with labor discipline, as well as ensuring suitable working conditions and safety at work.

"This council represents the interests of all employees, regardless of job title, to ensure that everyone is treated with consideration and fairness, helps create good working conditions by participating in decision-making, discussing employee matters, and accessing information," Maria explains.

The council consists of five members, but the size can change according to the number of employees at the employer. Meetings are held regularly on the monthly basis.
