Grainger plc Appoints Carol Hui as Non-Executive Director, Effective October 1, 2021

Grainger plc announces that Carol Hui will join the Board as a non-executive director on 1 October 2021. Carol is a non-executive director of Breedon Group plc. In an executive capacity, Carol's most recent role was as Chief of Staff and General Counsel at Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited from which she stepped down in summer 2021 and has previously served in senior positions in oil and gas, logistics and infrastructure companies. She was also a corporate finance lawyer at Slaughter and May. Carol will oversee the establishment of the Company's Responsible Business Committee and become chair of it. This Committee will provide Board-level oversight of the delivery of the company's ESG strategy including its 2030 'net zero in operations' commitment and its diversity and inclusion plans.
