Global Palm Resources Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the first quarter ended March 31, 2017. For the quarter, following a preliminary review of the unaudited financial statements for the quarter ended 31 March 2017, the group is expected to report a net profit after tax which will be substantially higher than that of the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2016. The higher net profit after tax is primarily attributable to the increase in the average selling price and sales volume of crude palm oil and increase in average selling price of palm kernel.
