OLATHE, Kan./March 21, 2024 - Garmin (NYSE: GRMN) today announced the JL Audio®Custom Fit speakers, its latest mid-range speakers that offer compatibility across popular vehicle makes and models. Available in two sizes - 2.75-inches and 3.50-inches - the speakers provide excellent sound quality and extended high-frequency response.
Designed for easy, drop-in installations, the JL Audio Custom Fit speakers can be used as mid-tweeters in passive systems or in active systems as true mid-range drivers or mid-tweeters.
The ultra-light, fiber-reinforced pulp cone features a custom "S" roll surround, allowing for excellent efficiency and extended high-frequency response.
DMA-optimized motor systems help create greater linearity and lower distortion.
Progressive-roll, flat spiders are designed for linear compliance, while neodymium magnets help keep the speakers light and offer optimal flux density.
The low-profile, perforated metal grille fits behind factory trim and helps provide excellent UV protection when installed on the dash.
