BARBARA STAR PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CONTROLLER

Barbara Starr, Senior Vice President and Controller
Barbara Star has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Controller for First Reliance Bank, where she will manage the daily accounting operations, month-end close, and quarterly reporting. She joined the bank in 2020 and has over 20 years of accounting experience.
Robert Haile, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said, "Barbara's promotion to Senior Vice President and Controller is well deserved. The position requires years of proven experience in various levels of accounting, and Barbara meets that requirement."
Barbara and her husband have one daughter. Barbara enjoys showing horses, needlework, and gardening in her spare time.
