NGX Statement: Notice of closed period

Further to the notice issued on 15 March 2024 convening a meeting of the Board of Directors of Ellah Lakes Plc (the Company) scheduled to hold on 27 March 2024, please be informed that the Management of the Company will at the meeting apprise the Board of certain price-sensitive information, which were not previously on the agenda of the meeting scheduled to hold on 27 March 2024.

In light of the above and in compliance with the post-listing requirements of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (The Exchange) for listed companies, the Company hereby notifies the Exchange and the investing public that, pursuant to Rule 17.18 of the Issuers' Rules, a closed period for trading in the Company's shares commenced on 20 March 2024and will continue until twenty-four (24) hours after the release of the price sensitive information that may arise from the discussions of the meeting.

Accordingly, all Directors, employees, persons discharging managerial responsibility and advisers of the Company and their connected persons are not permitted to directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the Company in any manner during the Closed Period.
