Land and Houses and Delta Thailand Partner to Implement the AirPlus2 Indoor Air Quality Innovation

Bangkok, Thailand, July 18, 2023 - Land and Houses Public Company Limited and Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited announced a partnership to implement the Land and Houses AirPlus2 (AirPlus Square) indoor air quality innovation, powered by Delta's DC fan solution, for home PM2.5 control and fresh air supply.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Chaiyoot Chinmahavong, Executive Vice President of Land and Houses Public Company Limited, and Mr. Curtis Ku, Thailand Country Director of Delta Thailand, at a ceremony held at the Grande Centre Point Terminal 21 Bangkok Hotel.

The AirPlus2 innovation is specifically designed to improve the health and wellness of Land and Houses' homeowners in Thailand and is powered by Delta's leading DC motor fan technology for energy-saving, high-efficiency and quiet home ventilation. The innovation features Delta's Fresh Air Supply System with a high-efficiency air supply fan and exhaust fans that offer excellent airflow performance and up to 99.6% PM2.5 purification by a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter.

Customers of Land and Houses can enjoy an enhanced quality of life with the AirPlus2 innovation that leverages Delta's Constant Airflow Technology to deliver oxygen-rich fresh outdoor air to each room in the home while removing indoor air with CO2, dust and pollutants. This provides a healthy and comfortable indoor environment at home for all family members and pets.

Land and Houses decided to partner with Delta after its innovative fresh air supply system passed rigorous performance tests and simulations of real-life usage scenarios. Delta's DC motor fans offer a superior airflow rate compared with many typical fresh air supply systems in the market. Customers will also appreciate the quiet operation and stable power control technology offered by Delta's unique DC motor technology.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Chaiyoot Chinmahavong, Executive Vice President of Land and Houses Public Company Limited, said "Land and Houses takes the quality of its houses most seriously. This means not only quality construction but also enabling an excellent quality of life daily for residents with good environment and air quality in each house. AirPlus is a home ventilation system that Land and Houses has developed and used for more than 10 years, evolving into the current AirPlus² to allow fresh air to come in and replace residual air, which contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon dioxide (CO2) and moisture (humidity).

In the past 4-5 years, PM2.5 particles have become a major issue that affects health. Land and Houses is aware of this issue and has invested in research and testing to develop a solution to control the amount of PM2.5 particles entering houses under Thailand's Pollution Control Department Standard Criteria with a ventilation rate that meets the standard criteria of ASHRAE 62. We have worked together with a team

including green-building technology professor Dr. Atch Sreshthaputra, engineering and environment professor Dr. Joseph Khedari, and digital-technology consultant Yip In Tsoi to achieve an operational solution that responds to all requirements. The solution is highly efficient with a budget in line with Thais' lifestyles and, most importantly, it supports energy conservation.

Delta is an expert in DC fans and is committed to co-developing products to meet the core concepts of Land and Houses. The company's PM2.5 particle filter systems and DC ventilation fans meet the commitment and determination of both sides. Therefore, we both are happy to collaborate and create excellent solutions that provide quality living in the present and in the future."

Mr. Curtis Ku, Thailand Country Director of Delta Thailand, said, "This milestone partnership with Land and Houses is an important step towards tackling the serious issue of PM2.5 air pollution in Thailand and promoting health and wellness for better living. Delta is a world leader in energy-saving and efficient DC motor fans, and we look forward to working with our partners to implement world-class indoor air quality solutions for a smart, healthy and comfortable life."

As one of the pioneers of DC motor ventilation fans, Delta was awarded ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for seven consecutive years by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Delta Thailand commits to protecting people in Thailand from PM2.5 air pollution while enhancing customer wellness by efficiently supplying clean and fresh indoor air to homes and buildings.
