POLL RESULTS OF

EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

HELD ON 30 APRIL 2021

Reference is made to the circular (the "Circular") of CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company Limited (the "Company") and the notice (the "Notice") of the extraordinary general meeting (the "EGM") of the Company both dated 14 April 2021. Unless the context otherwise requires, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Circular.

The Board is pleased to announce that at the EGM, the resolution (the "Resolution") as set out in the Notice was voted by the Shareholders by way of poll. The poll results were as follows:

"THAT subject to and conditional on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange") granting approval of the listing of, and permission to deal in, the shares of the Company which fall to be allotted and issued (the "Option Shares") pursuant to the exercise of any share options (the "Share Options") granted under the share option scheme proposed to be adopted by the Company (the "Share Option Scheme"), the details of which are set out in the circular of the Company dated 14 April 2021, the Share Option Scheme be and is hereby approved to be a share option scheme of the Company, and the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") (or a duly authorised committee thereof) be and is hereby authorised to do all such acts and to enter into all such transactions, arrangements and agreements as may be necessary or desirable in order to give full effect to the Share Option Scheme, including but not limited to:

granting Share Options during the term of the Share Option

Scheme and cancelling Share Options in accordance with the terms

applying at appropriate time or times to the Stock Exchange for

the listing of, and permission to deal in, all or part of the Option

Shares; and

  1. acting as the executive body of the Share Option Scheme, and being responsible for its implementation and administration."

As more than 50% of the votes were cast in favour of the Resolution, the Resolution was duly passed as an ordinary resolution of the Company at the EGM.

As at the date of the EGM, the total number of issued Shares of the Company was 6,136,066,234 Shares. There were no Shares entitling any Shareholders to attend and abstain from voting in favour of the Resolution at the EGM pursuant to Rule 13.40 of the Listing Rules and no Shareholder was required under the Listing Rules to abstain from voting on the Resolution at the EGM. None of the Shareholders had stated his/its intention in the Circular to vote against or abstain from voting on the Resolution at the EGM.

Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, the Company's Hong Kong share registrar, acted as the scrutineer for the vote-taking at the EGM.
