Cromwell is pleased to announce the appointment of Damian Horton to the key position of Head of Property.

Mr Horton will assume responsibility for Cromwell's $2.2 billion portfolio of Australian property assets and oversee management of the Group's property, leasing and special project teams.

Mr Horton joins Cromwell after having consulted to Government in senior roles for the last four years.

Mr Horton has direct property experience in Australia and Europe including roles as Valad's European Business Operations Manager and the Chief Operating Officer of Valad Real Estate Investments. Mr Horton was also a founding director of Hortons Real Estate in North Sydney.

Cromwell CEO Paul Weightman said the appointment would further strengthen the Group's senior executive team.

"It is an exciting time for Cromwell, the Australian property market provides a range of challenges and opportunities," he said. "Damian is a valuable addition to the team and well placed to oversee the performance of our portfolio."

Mr Horton's appointment follows Cromwell's recent acquisition of Valad Europe, which has transformed the Group into a global platform with $12.1 billion of assets under management, offering a diverse product range across key property sectors.

Cromwell now has more than 330 employees operating out of 30 offices across 15 countries. The Group currently has 33 mandates, unlisted property syndicates and a large pipeline of potential transactions.

Mr Horton said he was looking forward to continuing to grow the Group's reputation with tenants and investors.

"Cromwell has been at the vanguard of growth and change in the Australian property industry and I am excited to be joining the Group at such a pivotal moment in its development," he said.
