Marc Haller named new Head of Packaging

Marc Haller has been appointed as the new head of the CPH Group's Packaging Division. He succeeds Wolfgang Grimm, who will retire in spring 2022 after 24 successful years as Head of Packaging and a member of CPH Group Executive Management. Marc Haller was most recently General Manager of Sulzer Mixpac AG and a member of the Sulzer Management Group.

Perlen, 26 October 2021 - Head of Packaging Wolfgang Grimm will reach retirement age in spring 2022 and will retire at the end of next April. Wolfgang Grimm has been instrumental in shaping and developing the CPH Group's Packaging Division in the course of his tenure. After joining what was then known as Perlen Converting AG as its Managing Director in 1998, he went on to consistently align the division to the needs of the pharmaceutical market. Under his leadership, Perlen Packaging expanded worldwide into an international group and earned itself a prime position in the blister pack barrier film market. During his tenure, the Packaging Division increased its annual net sales from around CHF 44 million in 1998 to more than CHF 160 million in 2020, with an EBIT margin of over 12%. The CPH Group offers Wolfgang Grimm its sincere thanks for his many years of dedicated and successful work and for his great achievements in the successful further development of Perlen Packaging, and wishes him a happy and healthy retirement.

Marc Haller, who is 50, will join the CPH Group on 1 February 2022 and assume responsibility for the Packaging Division on 1 April. He will also be a member of CPH Group Executive Management. Marc Haller held various executive functions within the Sulzer corporation between 2007 and 2020. For the last six years thereof he was a member of Applicator Systems Divisional Management; and from 2016 onwards he served as General Manager of Sulzer Mixpac AG and its 1 100 employees. Sulzer Mixpac is active in supplying primary packagings to the healthcare sector. A Swiss national and the holder of an FH diploma in business administration, Marc Haller began his professional career with the Bosch Group in 1998. He then spent seven years as Head of Marketing & Sales at Plaston AG before joining Sulzer in 2007.
