In September 2016, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co Ltd('COSCO Shipping Specialized') was awarded a
contract by Tengizchevroil (TCO) Future Growth Project - Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FPG-WPMP) for
transportation of the modules from the fabrication yards in South Korea and Italy to transhipment bases in Finland
and Bulgaria. 'We are very proud to have been awarded the TCO contract for the ocean transportation for their modules',
stated Capt Han Guomin,CEO of COSCO Shipping Specialized.
COSCO Shipping Specialized is pleased to announce planning is well under way, with the first shipment being expected to
be performed by M.V. Kang Sheng Kou loading in Shinhan, South Korea in 2018.
COSCO Shipping Specialized with over 35 years' experience of transporting complex onshore and offshore projects,
together with their subcontractor Dongbang Transport Logistics Co. Ltd., will employ a large fleet of Deck Transport
Vessels(DTV).
Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) is a Kazakhstani partnership that explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, LPG, dry
gas and sulfur. TCO conducts its operations in accordance with world class safety and environmental standards. In April
1993,Tengizchevroil was formed between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chevron Corporation. Current partners are:
Chevron Overseas Company, 50 percent; KazMunayGas NC JSC, 20 percent; ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Ventures Inc.,
