M.V. XIN GUANG HUA, owned by COSCO SHIPPING SPECIALIZED, loaded one 'barge Crest 300' at the anchorage ground of Tianjin port, and two barges 'AMT Crusader' and 'Teras 3710' at MOKPO port, South Korea. The vessel laiden with those cargo set sail to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 'Crest 300' is 91.44 meters long and 27.43 meters wide, and 'AMT Crusader' is 91.44 meters long and 27.43 meters wide, and 'Teras 3710' is 114.3 meters long and 36.6 meters wide.
The weight of three barges is 28,702 tons, which renewed the maximal loading record of semisubmersible vessel in single voyage. To secure the safe execution of loading operation, crews of marine technical center scrutinized the risks of loading operation and evaluated the final loading plan repeatedly to ensure the success.
