Shane Marik, plant manager at Exelon Generation's Dresden Station, has been promoted to site vice president. Marik is replacing David Czufin, who was recently appointed to a business development position with Exelon Generation. Marik, who lives with his family in Marseilles, has been with the company for nearly 30 years and has served as Dresden's plant manager for the last four years.

His primary responsibility as site vice president is to oversee the safe and reliable operation of Dresden, including managing a staff of about 900 employees, with a focus on overall station performance and financial oversight. Prior to joining the Dresden team, Marik was the operations director at Exelon's LaSalle Generating Station and has held positions in the site's chemistry, quality assurance and work management organizations.
