Capstar Special Purpose Acquisition Corp. Announces the Resignation of Jamie Weinstein as Member of the Board

On December 12, 2021, Jamie Weinstein notified Capstar Special Purpose Acquisition Corp. (the Company) that he no longer supported the proposed business combination of the Company with Gelesis Inc., and for that reason was resigning his position as a member of the board of directors, effective immediately. At the time of his resignation, Mr. Weinstein was not a member of any of the Companys board committees. The Company's board of directors has no immediate plans to appoint a replacement for Mr. Weinstein, although reserves the right to do so.
Gelesis Holdings, Inc. is a commercial stage biotherapeutics company built for consumer engagement.
