MSCI ESG RATING ASSIGNED TO THE COMPANY

This announcement is made by BAIC Motor Corporation Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that MSCI Inc. (MSCI), an international index company, published the results of its MSCI environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) rating recently, and the Company was assigned a rating of A level, ranking among top 5% of the constituents for the MSCI China Index**.

The aforementioned rating is strictly for information purposes only and not for any other purposes. Such rating does not constitute recommendation to buy, sell or hold any securities of the Company.
