Autogrill, board appoints new chairman and new CEO

(Alliance News) - Autogrill Spa pointed out Wednesday that after the close of the shareholders' meeting, the newly appointed board of directors met in full, which proceeded to confer special offices and define the related powers and delegation of functions.

The board also appointed Bruno Chiomento as chairman and Paolo Roverato as chief executive officer.

Autogrill on Wednesday closed in the green by 1.3 percent at EUR6.50 per share.

Autogrill SpA is an Italy-based company engaged in the restaurants industry. The Company operates mainly through Food & Beverage business sector, including four subdivisions, such as Food & Beverage Italy, Food & Beverage HMS Host, Food & Beverage Others and Food & Beverage Corporate. Through the Food & Beverage division the Company offer includes restaurants supplies, sale of daily use products, such as newspapers and magazines, cigarettes and other products, among others. The Company distributes its products through three channels, including airports, motorways and other, such as railway stations. Autogrill SpA manages a portfolio of approximately 350 brands, directly or under license. On August 30, 2013, its subsidiary World Duty Free SpA (WDF) filed an application for the listing.
