ANNUAL REPORT ON SUSTAINABILITY ACCORDING TO ESRS STANDARDS FOR THE FIRST TIME
10.4.2024.
End of March, Atlantic Grupa published its Annual Report reviewing the business performance of 2023, taking into account the new legal regulations on non-financial reporting.
Including standard items such as the company's financial performance, an overview of operational activities across our business and distribution areas, company profile, and auditor's report, the specificity lies in Atlantic's adoption of ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) standards for sustainability this year, making it one of the pioneers in this region.
These standards represent new legal regulations, a European directive for non-financial reporting, establishing a framework for sustainability reporting and laying the groundwork for a standardized common language for sustainability issues in Europe.
Atlantic has been incorporating non-financial reporting into its annual reports since 2020, and with this directive, it is among the first to apply this standard to reporting, given its 10-year experience of previous reporting under the GRI standard.
Four years ago, Atlantic Grupa introduced a Sustainability Index and significantly enhanced its environmental, social, and governance policies, with notable results for the first time included in the annual report in accordance with these standards.
You can read more in the report here in Croatian and here in English.
The report features photographs by the eminent photographer Damir Hoyka from his photo series "The Face of Nature". This aims to support his project, initiated to influence the beginning of reforestation and to halt deforestation.
