ANNOUNCEMENT

In compliance with its obligation to provide notification of extraordinary events under Section 55 of Act CXX of 2001 on the Capital Market and Decree No. 24/2008 (VIII. 15.) of the Minister of Finance, ALTEO Energiaszolgáltató Nyilvánosan Működő Részvénytársaság (registered office: H-1033 Budapest, Kórház utca 6-12, company registration number: Cg.01-10-045985) (hereinafter: Company or ALTEO) hereby provides the following information:

Last year, ALTEO obtained its first voluntary, independent third-party ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) certification, which assessed the Company's environmental, social and governance impacts. This year, the ESG rating was reviewed by Sustainalytics, and ALTEO scored 26.1 points on a risk scale of 0 to 50 for the overall results. This improved ALTEO's risk rating from 'high' last year to 'medium' this year. ALTEO manages its high industry exposure with a strong risk management- based approach.

The Company has believed in sustainable development from the very beginning, which is why it started to establish its ESG vision and strategy several years ago, and in this context, this year - for the seventh time - it has published its Integrated Report, which was approved by the General Meeting. The aim of the verified report is to present in a transparent way the efforts and achievements of the past years. Another important management step was the 2022 establishment of the Green Committee, composed of ALTEO's Executives, Supervisory Board representative and sustainability experts, which is a dedicated body overseeing the implementation and achievement of all three pillars of sustainability. One of the first steps taken by the Committee was to complement the comprehensive Sustainability Strategy in 2022 with objectives, specific measures and the metrics to monitor these, and to publish the report.
