AK&M Rating Agency upgraded its ESG Report rating for Acron Group, a leading mineral fertiliser producer in Russia and worldwide, to Resg2. This rating represents a high level of disclosure of information on sustainable development and is an improvement from the Resg3 rating assigned in 2020.

In the reporting period, Acron Group significantly expanded disclosure of information regarding its activities to promote social development, industrial safety, and occupational health and safety, as well as its cooperation with employees. AK&M noted that the reports included extended environmental indices and new data on the Group's sustainable development management system.

'The Group invests generously in environmental programmes, industrial safety measures, and welfare and charity projects in its footprint regions. In 2020 alone, Acron spent RUB 2.3 billion on implementing its ESG strategy'.

AK&M launched its ESG Report rating in 2020 to share with the professional community the best practices for disclosing social and environmental efforts.
