KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia's commodities ministry on Thursday forecast crude palm oil production at 19.7 million tonnes in 2021, rising from 19.14 million tonnes last year.
"This is due to the expected expansion of mature oil palm areas as well as the effects of dry weather affecting the production of fresh palm fruit bunches, and subsequently crude palm oil production," Minister Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali said in a statement.
