GLOBAL MARKETS:

New purchase. Unilever is allegedly in exclusive negotiations to acquire Horlicks from GlaxoSmithKline.

Russian interference. Facebook acknowledged that it had been alerted as early as 2014 of suspicious Russian activities.   

Anti money laundering. Deutsche Bank could soon get rid of some senior executives to convince regulators that it is actively fighting money laundering, according to Bloomberg.

Rolling down. Tenaris' share tumbled after its president was questioned in a financial case in Argentina. The case does not directly concern the company, whose board has reiterated its confidence in the shareholder manager.

Fury. Donald Trump threatened to cut public support for General Motors after the announcement of the manufacturer's massive job cuts "We are now looking at cutting all GM subsidies, including for electric cars," he said.

Renault fights back. Pressured by the Japanese leaders of the Renault Nissan Alliance, the French company is trying to make its voice heard. French economy minister Bruno Le Maire believes that Renault's CEO should remain the President of the Renault Nissan Alliance.

LafargeHolcim persists. The cement company confirmed its 2018 objectives and expects solid demand in 2019. Next year will be marked by an acceleration in debt reduction. The trajectory is in line with LafargeHolcim's 2022 plan.

On the grill. Axa is holding an investor conference today to discuss its short and medium-term objectives. Among them, the increase in its distribution rate.

Tax evasion. The Italian prosecutor's office has completed its investigation into Gucci's (Kering) alleged tax evasion, which could lead to a trial. The case concerns €1 billion and concerns a disagreement over the tax treatment of income earned via a logistics platform located in Switzerland between 2010 and 2016.

DT is strengthening in the Netherlands. Deutsche Telekom has received the green light from Brussels to acquire Tele2's Dutch subsidiary after five months of in-depth investigation.
