Electro Sur Este SAA is a Peru-based company principally engaged in the distribution and sale of electric energy. It operates in a concession area of 6,111 square kilometers, which comprises the regions of Cusco, Apurimac and Madre de Dios, as well as the province of Sucre, region of Ayacucho. It is also active in the electric power generation on a minor scale through high, medium and low-voltage transmission and sub-transmission lines. As of December 31, 2011, Fondo Nacional de Financiamiento de la Actividad Empresarial del Estado (FONAFE) was the Company’s majority shareholder with 99.63% of its interest.
