Compania Maritima Chilena SA, formerly Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica SA, is a Chile-based company engaged in the deep sea freight transportation. The Company's business activities are divided into two segments: International Maritime Transport and Ship Charter and Leasing. The International Maritime Transport division provides transportation services of dry, refrigerated and frozen cargo, forests products, as well as vehicles, among others. The Ship Charter and Leasing segment offers subchartering and subleasing of vessels. The Company operates worldwide in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Furthermore, it owns a number of subsidiaries, such as South Cape Financial and Maritime Corp and Interoceanbulk SA. The Company is controlled by Grupo Empresas Navieras SA.
