Deutsche Boerse AG said late Thursday that Shop Apotheke Europe NV and Wacker Chemie AG will enter the German index MDAX on Sept. 21.

Retail pharmacy company Shop Apotheke will replace RTL Group SA on the MDAX, which is the index that tracks the performance of the 60 largest companies after the DAX stocks, excluding technology companies, Deutsche Boerse said.

German chemical company Wacker Chemie will replace Rocket Internet SE on the German index MDAX, and Rocket Internet SE will be included in the SDAX index.

Aareal Bank AG and RTL Group will be included in the SDAX, an index that entails 70 German companies ranking directly below the MDAX in terms of market capitalization and trading volume.

"There are three more changes based on the fast exit rule: Global Fashion Group S.A. replaces Steinhoff International Holdings N.V., Medios AG replaces Bertrandt AG and Secunet Security Networks AG replaces ATOSS Software AG," Deutsche Boerse said.
