(MT Newswires) -- Voti Detection (VOTI.V) was up nearly 5% after the company on Thursday said it formed a partnership with Pacers Sports & Entertainment to provide a lower-touch security and screening process for the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the home arena of the Indiana Pacers NBA team.

Voti, which builds X-ray security systems, said it installed 15 of its VOTI Matrix Series scanners in the arena ahead of the team allowing a limited number of fans to attend games beginning on Jan.19. It has also given Pacers Sports access to its VotiINSIGHTS web-based platform for the remote management and analytics of its scanners.

"Our leading edge technology underlies our X-Ray security systems and we are certain that our Matrix Series scanners along with our VOTIInsights management platform will provide Bankers Life Fieldhouse with the highest quality of security required for their guests," chief executive Rory Olson said in a release.

Voti shares were last seen up C$0.02 to C$0.435 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
