Vastned Belgium is a public regulated real estate company (RREC) under Belgian law, specialized in Belgian commercial real estate investment. At the end of 2022 the market value of the investment properties, with a total leasable space of 76,086 m2, was estimated at a fair value of EUR 312.6 million. The majority of the real estate portfolio consisted of high-quality inner-city real estate located in the cities of Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Bruges and qualitative retail parks. The remaining portfolio consists of inner-city shops outside of the premium cities, qualitative retail parks and retail warehouses. Furthermore, a limited part of the real estate portfolio consists of catering and residential units. The geographic spread of the portfolio is as follows: Flanders (72.2%), Brussels (18.8%) and Wallonia (9%).
