LISLE, Ill., June 23, 2021 - Valid, the leading provider of technology solutions for mobile, identity, data and payments, is proud to announce a collaboration with Aspirationin the launch of their Recycled PVC card program. The US-based socially-conscious and sustainable cash management services provider introduced the sustainable savings and debit card in December 2020 to reinforce their commitment to 'clean money'.
The Aspiration card is produced with 70% Recycled PVC (rPVC) derived from post-industrial, pre-consumer waste diverted from the landfill. With increasing scrutiny on ecological practices and corporate responsibility regarding the use of plastics, the trend towards sustainable payment card materials is expected to accelerate over the next five years. By 2025, rPVC has an estimated CAGR of nearly 45% while first-use PVC is expected to decrease by 2.2% within the same timeframe (ABI Research).
The Aspiration card program is a derivative of Valid's ECOFuse line, a collection of eco-conscious materials that help support an organization's commitment to sustainability across the supply chain.
