The Far Eastern University, Incorporated announced earnings results for the second quarter ended November 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was PHP 1,174.002 million compared to PHP 1,139.948 million a year ago. Operating income was PHP 465.340 million compared to PHP 517.448 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 460.979 million compared to PHP 462.631 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 28.06 compared to PHP 28.17 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was PHP 1,788.062 million compared to PHP 1,579.233 million a year ago. Operating income was PHP 503.872 million compared to PHP 489.463 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 493.956 million compared to PHP 454.257 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 30.07 compared to PHP 27.66 a year ago.
Far Eastern University, Incorporated is a Philippines-based educational institution. It operates through three segments: FEU Main, Trimestral Schools, and Other Schools. It is comprised of seven institutes, which includes the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance, Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts, Institute of Arts and Sciences, Institute of Education, Institute of Heath Sciences and Nursing, Institute of Law, and Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management.
