Stellantis NV on Thursday said that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens AG to jointly develop smart electric vehicle charging infrastructure technologies for the Middle East.

The agreement with the German technology group includes creating packaged solutions for both customers and for the electrification of delivery services in the Middle East, the vehicle manufacturer said in a statement.

The agreement comes as Stellantis applies its Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, designed to advance the company's energy transition and mobility offerings in the region.
