Soquimich Comercial SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the production, commercialization, distribution, retail and wholesale of specialty fertilizers, nutrients, agricultural inputs and others products intended for agricultural activity. Its products include specialty fertilizers, iodine and iodine derivatives, lithium and lithium derivatives and industry chemicals which are sold principally under the Ultrasol and Qrop brands. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Productora de Insumos Agricolas Ltda, Soquimich Comercial Internacional Ltda, Comercial Hydro SA, Agrorama SA and Comercial Agrorama Ltda. In addition, SQM Industrial was the Company’s majority shareholder with 60.64% of its interest.
