SiriusXM is saddened to hear of the passing of fashion legend André Leon Talley. Talley started at Vogue as the fashion news director in 1983, reaching creative director status (and serving as the magazine's first Black male creative director) by 1987 before moving to W Magazine in Paris in 1995. He returned to Vogue as the editor-at-large in 1998, staying through 2013. A documentary about his life and career, The Gospel According to André, was released in 2018.

On an episode of Bevelations, available to stream on the SXM App, host Bevy Smith interviewed Talley about his 2020 book, The Chiffon Trenches: A Memoir. Smith describes Talley as someone she's long admired who has been an inspiration to her for decades.

Additionally, tune in to Radio Andy (Ch. 102) this weekend, January 22 and 23, to hear a marathon of Full Length with André Leon Talley from 2017, featuring interviews with Whoopi Goldberg, Norma Kamali, Wendy Williams, Zac Posen, and Tamron Hall. You can also hear Talley's interviews from Sandyland, Andy Cohen Live, and Bevelations.
