KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 9 - Serba Dinamik Group Bhd and University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering (UNIMY) will work together to conduct technical training, share technology and expertise, and run certification programmes recognised by technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions in Terengganu.

The two parties today signed a certificate of collaboration (CoC) for this, streamed live on the UNIMY Facebook page involving three polytechnics, namely Politeknik Besut Terengganu, Politeknik Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Dungun and Politeknik Kuala Terengganu.

Group managing director Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah said this collaboration should be the key to success towards Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0).

'We need to realise that the 21st century learning syllabus needs to be implemented at the polytechnics and university level based on the rapidly-changing technological developments towards IR4.0. They need to be prepared to accept the challenge of a stronger digital ecosystem,' he said in a statement today.

He also explained that it is a process where every level in the educational institution needs to take seriously to continue to support the mandate of IR4.0 to remain relevant amid current market developments.

The CoC was signed by UNIMY vice chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr Mohd Razali Muhamad, while Mohd Abdul Karim represented Serba Dinamik.
