Sanmina Corporation announced earnings results for the third quarter ended July 3, 2021. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was USD 1,657.741 million compared to USD 1,654.691 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 74.265 million compared to USD 64.103 million a year ago. Net income was USD 117.375 million compared to USD 44.880 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.79 compared to USD 0.66 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.74 compared to USD 0.64 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was USD 5,112.667 million compared to USD 5,085.412 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 214.547 million compared to USD 145.653 million a year ago. Net income was USD 212.433 million compared to USD 88.107 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.25 compared to USD 1.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.17 compared to USD 1.23 a year ago.
Sanmina Corporation is a provider of integrated manufacturing solutions, components, products and repair, logistics and after-market services. The Company provides these offerings primarily to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), in industries, such as industrial, medical, defense and aerospace, automotive, communications networks and cloud infrastructure. The Company's operations are managed as two businesses: Integrated Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) and Components, Products and Services (CPS). IMS business consists of printed circuit board assembly and test, high-level assembly and test and direct-order-fulfillment. Its CPS components include printed circuit boards, backplanes and backplane assemblies, cable assemblies, fabricated metal parts, precision machined parts, and plastic-injected molded parts. Its products include memory solutions, high-performance storage platforms, optical, radio frequency (RF) and microelectronic (microE) design and manufacturing services and others.
