AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ SailPoint Technologies Holdings Inc. (SAIL) on Tuesday reported a loss of $19.9 million in its third quarter.

The Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 6 cents per share.

The identity governance software developer posted revenue of $110.1 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $103.5 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, SailPoint Technologies expects its results to range from a loss of 8 cents per share to a loss of 6 cents per share.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $112 million to $114 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

SailPoint Technologies expects full-year results to range from a loss of 7 cents per share to a loss of 6 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $415.5 million to $417.5 million.
