Dear partners,

We would like to inform you that starting with 20.10.2021, The National Gas Transmission Company Transgaz SA offers available capacity at the interconnection point (IP) Ungheni located at the Romanian-Moldovan border, by means of auctions on the RBP platform, in compliance with the provisions of Regulation EU no. 459/2017 (CAM NC) and of ANRE Orders no. 215/2019, no. 130/2020 and no. 13/2021.

IP Ungheni is identified by the following commercial codes:

  • on the direction MD→RO, EIC Code: 21Z000000000356G, GMOIS Code: PM0303 and
  • on the direction RO→MD, EIC Code: 21Z000000000356G, GMOIS Code: SM1157D0

For the current gas year, daily, monthly and quarterly bundled firm capacity products, expressed in kWh/day (25⁰C/0⁰C) and within-day, expressed in kWh/h (25⁰C/0⁰C), will be offered in IP Ungheni via the RBP platform on both flow directions.

In the event that, at the daily auctions, the bundled firm capacity offer has been exhausted, or has not been offered, Transgaz will offer day-aheadinterruptible capacity products, expressed in kWh/day (25⁰C/0⁰C).

The bookings which have been made so far on the booking platform GMOIS, owned and operated by Transgaz, shall remain valid and the contracts shall be further executed without being affected by the new means of booking.

The capacity allocations as a result of the auctions, starting with 21.10.2021 shall be automatically loaded in the GMOIS platform in kWh/day (25⁰C/0⁰C) and shall be also converted in MWh/day (15⁰C/15⁰C).

In order to participate in the capacity auctions, the Network Users shall register with the RBP platform.
