S.N. Nuclearelectrica S.A ("SNN") announces that Cernavoda NPP Unit 1 reached nominal power during the night of September 19 to 20, 2021.
Cernavoda Unit 1 functioned at reduced power since September 18, 2021, 01:00 HRS, in order to perform repair works to an equipment of the classical part of the power plant, the works being able to be completed only with the unit at reduced power.
The controlled power reduction and the repair works were done under full safety conditions in compliance with the applicable procedures.
