Chimcomplex informs investors about the termination of the mandate of Mr. Victor Avram as General Manager starting with November 10, 2022, and the takeover of the position of General Manager by Mr. Ștefan Vuza. These changes in the executive team will ensure continuity in overcoming the challenges of the moment.

Mr. Stefan Vuza, as leader of the executive team, comes with the strategic perspective and a visionary leadership in turbulent times. Mr. Vuza will be an ambassador for accelerating the digitization processes and prioritizing investments for the modernization of electrolysis installations that will strengthen the company's national leadership in the production of hydrogen from water and the increase of energy efficiency, by building high- efficiency cogeneration capacities of gas and hydrogen with an installed power of 46.22 MWh.

"On behalf of the entire board of directors, I want to thank Mr. Victor Avram, who played a very important role in the development of the Chimcomplex and Oltchim companies, contributing significantly to the integration of the two plants, then to the growth and development of the new company. ", said Mr. Stefan Vuza, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

"The times we live in no longer give us the luxury of time to accommodate, to understand the specific business of the chemical industry, that's why my taking over the CEO position also means pushing for the growth of the new company and the continuation of the smooth investments. In the projects we propose, we want to integrate a new reinvigorated executive team with strong talents and strengths, pursuing a more specific involvement of management towards the investment directions dictated by the market and the global context we are going through, " added Mr. Vuza.

In this context, Mrs. Veronica Preoteasa, administrator of Chimcomplex, will take over the interim position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) seconded by Mr. Dan Moldovan as Deputy Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Mrs. Preoteasa has over 37 years of experience in the chemical industry, of which 19 years in management positions, 10 years of consultancy in the field of polyurethanes and entrepreneurship in the trade and distribution of chemicals.
