ROVIO ENTERTAINMENT OYJ The NYX Game Awards is an international competition to recognize creative and technical excellence within the international gaming industry. Rovio's audio team and MVP team won eight trophies, winning the category for every entry they made.
The winners were chosen by members of the IAA Judging Council, a group of leading industry professionals. The awards categories vary from Indie to AAA and mobile games, marketing, audio and video.
Both teams were very happy with the recognition. "This industry is highly innovative but competitive as well. The key to success comes from smooth cooperation between the stakeholders and well-managed trusted partnerships to the greatest extent", says video Producer Marko Pohjosmäki. Pasi Pitkänen, Head of Audio continues that "I'm immensely proud of the whole team and especially for their passion to detail and dedication for always going the extra mile to deliver something special for our players!"
