The Company operates through four segments: corporate restaurants, franchise restaurants, retail and catering and central operations. The corporate restaurants segment includes the operations of its restaurants, which sell prepared food and beverages to consumers. The franchise restaurants segment represents the operations of its franchised restaurant network operating under its brand names. The retail and catering segment represents sales of St-Hubert, Swiss Chalet, Montana's and The Keg branded products and other private label products. The central operations segment sales from call center services, mobile and web orders processed for corporate and franchised restaurants; income from the lease of buildings and equipment to franchisees; and the collection of franchise and franchise renewal fees.
