Join Open API 2021: Be part of the banking (r)evolution

Open API 2021 is a 48-hour hackathon organized by Raiffeisen Bank International together with Tatra banka and the Slovakian innovation studio Kiuub.

The event will take place from 3^rd to 5^th December 2021 in hybrid mode - at the coworking space HubHub Bratislava as well as online. Therefore we highly encourage people all across Europe to sign up!

We are looking for innovators, web/software developers, UX/UI designers, product designers, tech-savvies and banking enthusiasts who would like to take on innovative challenges.

1 HACKATHON - 2 CHALLENGES

As RBI, we are seeking a value-added service for retail consumers (B2C). Develop a solution looking at supplemental banking or non-banking digital services and bring valuable features to our customers using RBI satellite apps approach and RBI's Open API infrastructure.

Teams will be encouraged to build a clickable wireframe which will consider business desirability, viability as well as feasibility.

Tatra banka and Slovak accounting software provider SuperFaktura are focusing on value-added service for SMEs (B2B). The teams' task is to explore issues that SMEs are facing and identify use cases in which bank data could serve as a catalyst.

Essentially it is about developing new value-added services for SMEs using Tatra banka's and SuperFaktura's Open API infrastructure. In this challenge, teams will also be encouraged to build an MVP (clickable prototype) which will take into account business desirability, viability as well as feasibility.
