Public Joint Stock Rosneft Oil : Igor Sechin Makes Welcoming Address at CERAWeek International Conference of Energy Industry Leaders

Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin made an online welcoming address at the 39th annual CERAWeek Energy Industry Leaders Conference.
The conference was attended by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Minister of Steel of India; Alok Kumar Gupta, Director of ONGC Videsh Ltd.; Dan Brouillette, US Secretary of Energy; Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of OPEC; Bernard Looney, CEO of BP; Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of Energy of Qatar and CEO of Qatar Petroleum; Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of Total; Peter Clarke, President of Exxon Mobil Gas & Power Marketing Company; Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes; Jeremy Weir, CEO of Trafigura; Ben van Beurden, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell; Ryan Lance, CEO of ConocoPhillips; Ashok Belani, Executive Vice President of Schlumberger New Energy; Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC); Daniel Yergin, Vice Chairman of IHS Markit; as well as other representatives of the world's leading energy companies and expert community.
During his address, Igor Sechin praised the level of the longstanding partnership between Rosneft and Indian companies. 'Dear Mr Modi, your support for joint projects is vital to us, and with respect to this I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your personal contribution that helps develop an effective cooperation and build the energy bridge connecting our countries,' Igor Sechin said in his speech.
Rosneft has been actively promoting the integrated format for cooperation with Indian partners along the whole processing chain, from extraction to refining and oil product sales. Indian companies (ONGC Videsh Ltd., Oil India Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, and Bharat PetroResources) have been owners of 49.9% of the subsidiary JSC Vankorneft since 2016. This company is located in Krasnoyarsk Territory and develops the Vankorskoye oil and gas condensate field, one of the biggest fields discovered and brought on stream over the last 25 years in Russia.
The consortium of Indian companies (Oil India Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, and Bharat PetroResources) owns 29.9% of the Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha company, which holds licences for the areas in the Central Block of the Srednebotuobinskoye field and for the Kurungsky licence area (co-shareholders are Rosneft and BP).
Since 2001, Indian company ONGC Videsh Ltd. has been a member of the Sakhalin-1 project (other shareholders are Rosneft, ExxonMobil, and Japanese Sodeco).
Rosneft owns the major 49.13% stake in India's Nayara Energy, which has top-quality assets, including the Vadinar refinery with a throughput of 20 mtpa. The refinery is the second largest in India and one of the most technologically advanced in the world. Nayara Energy's business also includes a deep-water port that can accommodate very large crude carriers (VLCC) and one of India's largest retail network with more than 5800 filling stations.
