Productos EFE SA is a Venezuela-based company primarily engaged in the food processing sector. The Company specializes in the production, distribution and sale of a variety of ice creams and sorbets, through the nine product lines Classic, Indulgent, Refreshing, Funny and Institutional. Those lines of products are marketed under such brands as Pastelado, Golazoo, Super Tornado and Simphony, among others. The Company’s facilities include a production plant established in the metropolitan area of Caracas, as well as a network of 12 commercial centers located nationwide. As of September 30, 2011, the Company owned one fully consolidated subsidiary EFE Investments Corporation. In addition, Alimentos Polar CA was its majority shareholder with 62% of total share capital.
