Partners Value Investments L.P. (the 'Partnership' TSX: PVF.UN TSX:PVF.PR.U) announced today its financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2020.

All amounts are stated in US dollars. The Partnership recorded an increase in net book value during the period of $0.45 to $43.05 per unit ($3.8 billion). The increase is primarily due to an increase in the quoted market price of Brookfield Asset Management common shares and investment valuation gains, partially offset by foreign currency losses. The Partnership generated a net income of $2 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2020 compared to $14 million in the prior year period.
