Comunicat privind deținerile Fondul Proprietatea S.A. in OMV Petrom S.A.

OMV Petrom S.A. ("OMV Petrom") a primit de la Franklin Templeton o notificare privind deținerile majore sub forma Anexei nr.18 la Regulamentul 5/2018 privind emitenţii de instrumente financiare şi operaţiuni de piaţă, prin care a fost informată că, începând cu 21 ianuarie 2022, deținerea directă a Fondul Proprietatea S.A. din drepturile de vot ale OMV Petrom a scăzut sub pragul de 5%.

Conform notificării primite, Fondul Proprietatea S.A. deține un număr de 1.688.548.078 de acțiuni/ drepturi de vot, corespunzătoare unui procent de 2,98% din capitalul social/drepturile de vot ale OMV Petrom.

Despre OMV Petrom

OMV Petrom este cea mai mare companie de energie din Europa de Sud-Est, cu o producție anuală de țiței și gaze la nivel de grup de 53 milioane bep în 2020. Grupul are o capacitate de rafinare de 4,5 milioane tone anual și operează o centrală electrică de înaltă eficiență de 860 MW. Pe piața distribuției de produse petroliere cu amănuntul, Grupul este prezent în România și țările învecinate prin intermediul a 787 benzinării, la sfârșitul lunii septembrie 2021, sub două branduri, OMV și Petrom.

OMV Aktiengesellschaft, una dintre cele mai mari companii industriale listate din Austria, deține 51% din acțiunile OMV Petrom. Statul român, prin Ministerul Energiei, deține 20,6% din acțiunile OMV Petrom, Fondul Proprietatea deține 3%, iar 25,4% se tranzacționează liber la Bursa de Valori București și la Bursa de Valori Londra.

OMV Petrom este cel mai mare contribuabil la bugetul de stat, cu contribuții de aproximativ 32 miliarde de euro reprezentând taxe, impozite și dividende plătite în perioada 2005 - 2020.

Din 2007, OMV Petrom a integrat în strategia sa de business principiile responsabilității corporatiste. În perioada 2007 - 2020, compania a alocat aproximativ 72 milioane euro pentru dezvoltarea comunităților din România, concentrându-se pe protecția mediului, educație, sănătate și dezvoltare locală.

Pe 29 iulie 2020, OMV Petrom și-a anunțat sprijinul pentru recomandările emise de Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD, Grupul operativ pentru publicarea informațiilor financiare referitoare la schimbările climatice) privind riscurile și oportunitățile asociate schimbărilor climatice.
