Ocean Outdoor, a DOOH media owner, has rebranded its retail technology subsidiary ACM Retail Tech to Ocean MediaTech. This is part of an effort to expand its operations in the Nordic countries and throughout Europe, according to a press release.

Ocean Outdoor acquired AdCityMedia(ACM) earlier this year, and aims to expand its DOOH portfolio with this rebrand. In addition, Ocean MediaTech plans to reach Ocean Outdoor's other regions and customers such as pharma, hospitality, finance, restaurants and fashion.

Ocean MediaTech provides a variety of products, such as large-format displays and digital signage management.

"Ocean MediaTech is part of our ongoing program to integrate ACM assets with existing operations in the Nordics and beyond," Tim Bleakley, CEO, Ocean Outdoor, said in the release. "The new division delivers multiple group wide benefits including economies of scale, allowing the business to become more competitive through an expanded portfolio, closer integration with Ocean media sales, combined talent and deeper market coverage."
