--Nestle SA recognizes that a majority of its food and drinks products don't meet health criteria, and that some never will, the Financial Times reports, citing an internal company document.

--More than 60% of the Swiss consumer-goods conglomerate's core food and beverages products fall short of the healthy rating under a star system applied by the Australian government, the FT reports. Nestle could look at scrapping or replacing internal nutrition standards for some of its products, the FT adds, citing an unnamed source.

--Nestle didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from The Wall Street Journal.
