Minera Frisco, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 3,425.13 million compared to MXN 3,358.45 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 251.95 million compared to MXN 263.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.04 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.04 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was MXN 7,026.83 million compared to MXN 6,288.69 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 784.47 million compared to net loss of MXN 574.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.13 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.13 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.1 a year ago.
Minera Frisco SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources. The Companyâs main activities comprise the production and sale of lead-silver concentrates, zinc concentrates, copper concentrates, copper in cathode and gold and silver rods. The staged operations include the location, investigation and compilation of information in the prospective areas considered for possible existence of minerals; conducting detailed geological study in the prospective areas, and finally conducting exploration methods directly in the prospective areas as a result of the previous stages.
