The Company’s products include parts for agricultural equipment, parts for tractors, blades for the construction sector, stone-cutting blades, railway accessories, items for road equipment, washers, hand tools, truck accessories and other steel products. The manufacture process consists of hot processing of steel, heat treatment and finishing operations. Metisa sells its products to other companies, which use them to produce machines, as well as on the spare parts market. As of December 31, 2011, the Company wholly owned METISA Florestal e Energetica SA, which is engaged in the reforestation and commercial exploitation of forest products.
